Golden Demon Classic 2019

Ok then ladies and gents, how did everyone do?

I inadvertently entered an almost impossible category (40k squad) and felt lucky to come away with a pin!

I entered both singles, 40k squad and open, got finalist in all 4. Was a little dissapointed not to get a commended, as 2 of the entries got red, green and blue dots but after seeing lots of others not get them either I didn't feel as bad. The standard was awesome and looking back I feel that the judges may have been a little overwhelmed by the sheer number of world class entries. More than double the number from last year I believe.

Well it was a great event this year, very strong entries and lots of entries, met lots of people and had a really good weekend.

Out of the 4 entries, i got 2 finalists, with the small scale Knights being down to the last five on the judging table, but sadly missed out, the three winners were very good and i think the base on the bronze was what pipped it and some details\ contrast just that bit better, but great to be so close.

I thought I may get commended with the red sticker on both the AoS single and Small scale, But with the small scale getting down to last 5 (i saw them judging the category through the cabinets randomly as i went to see how i had got on). So a bit of a shame.

Have to pick some models to get starting on 2020.
