A few photos of my finalist pin winning entry into this year's duel category at warhammer fest. Had a lot of fun playing around with the posing on these guys.
Wanted to capitalise on the smug grin on the elf's face and the angry grimace on the dwarf's - think it's safe to say a grudge was added after this "manouvre"
Also wanted to try and convey the sense that it was taking place on a dwarven pitch, hence the marble with gold inlay.
This was rushed a bit before the deadline, so a few finishes are slightly rougher than I would have liked. But having said that it was a fun piece to work on and I learned a lot doing it
